our MISSION
-
The forgotten element of the second amendment is training. You are only as good as you are today. The Greek poet Archilochus is credited with saying, “We don’t rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training.”
-
You are the primary First Responder, the first one on scene, the first one available to mitigate the situation until the secondary First Responders in uniform arrive.
-
The second amendment gives us the right to carry lethal force, but we are responsible for the morals and ethics that govern our actions and for knowing and bearing legal considerations in mind.
-
In a culture that promotes complacency and personal comfort, being mentally and physically fit improves our outcomes in all areas of life. We can collect all the cool tools and gear, but we need strong bodies and minds in order to be effective.
-
Building our skills of situational awareness and deescalation can keep us out of a fight, or, if it comes to that, give us the advantage to win the day.
-
Hopefully we have done everything we can to avoid a violent encounter. However, if we do find ourselves in an escalated situation, we need the tools and knowledge to stop the threat and treat any victims.

Are you ready?
Our monthly courses, private lessons, and team trainings are great ways to build and sharpen your skills.
